The great superbike rider, Jorge Lorenzo, chose Fuerte Grazalema Hotel\u00a0<\/a>in order to relax after the celebration of Spanish Grand Prix in Jerez.<\/p>\n

Settled in a fabulous cork oak forest in the Sierra de Grazalema\u00a0<\/a>(C\u00e1diz, Spain), the Fuerte Grazalema Hotel is a natural paradise perfect to spend some relaxing days in an oasis of peace and tranquility.<\/strong> It is located a few kilometers away from one of the most charming white villages in Andaluc\u00eda: Grazalema not far from the historical Ronda and easily accessible from C\u00e1diz, Seville and M\u00e1laga. Located in a protected natural area, Grazalema offers a great array of sport and cultural activities will no doubt please you. Jorge Lorenzo is very likely to have enjoyed these activities, for he likes to do all the activities that are at his disposal.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Grazalema Natural Park offers a great number of different activities for the motor lovers, with different hiking trails and paths to enjoy and be in contact with nature. You are certain to be entertained no matter the type of person that you are, from the most adventurous to those wishing to enjoy a peaceful and quiet stay.<\/p>\n

Short but charming stay<\/h1>\n

The rider Jorge Lorenzo came to Fuerte Grazalema Hotel\u00a0<\/a>to have some rest after the Grand Prix competition. It was the first time that the rider stayed in this superb hotel and he was delighted with the experience.<\/strong> He arrived in the evening and could rest and regain strength in one of the best restaurants in Grazalema: El Olivo Restaurant<\/a>. Its chef, Alejandro, prepared a special tasting menu with homemade dishes and specialties with products from the Sierra, perfect for the occasion.<\/p>\n

The next morning, Jorge Lorenzo went down to one of the hotel lounge rooms to have breakfast<\/strong> saying goodbye to this original site right in the heart of Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park, one of the last protected reserves in Europe.<\/p>\n

Spanish Grand Prix in Jerez<\/h1>\n

As every year, the circuit of Jerez hosted the best riders of the three different categories (Moto GP, Moto 2 and Moto 3) on 27th, 28th and 29th April.<\/strong> The pilot from Mallorca, who started from pole had a difficult race from the first lap to the last one but finished in a good position. Overtaken by the Spanish rider Dani Pedrosa, Lorenzo had to make a big effort to arrive in the second position after the current world champion, Casey Stoner.<\/p>\n

Dani Pedrosa, in his usual way started extremely fast and placed himself in the first position with all the favorite riders after him.<\/strong> In the second lap, Stoner managed to overtake the Catalan pilot, who started to slow down to the fifth position. Lorenzo, on the contrary, did not lose sight of the Australian rider and achieved the same timings than Stoner for seven laps until he managed to place himself just behind his wheel. The last five laps were strained. Stoner and Lorezo engaged in a dangerous dispute to arrive in the first position. Eventually, the last Lorenzo\u2019s attack was unsuccessful and Stoner won for the very first time in Jerez circuit just before Lorenzo. For his part, Pedrosa overtook Dovizioso to arrive in third position.<\/p>\n

Pilot involved in driving safety issues<\/h1>\n

In the same morning, the Moto GP world champion attended the opening of an experimental section that the Diputaci\u00f3n de M\u00e1laga has equipped in the autonomous local entity of Montecorto, in Ronda (M\u00e1laga),<\/strong> with the latest safety driving measures especially designed and installed for motorcyclists.<\/p>\n

In particular, the road opened by Jorge Lorenzo is the MA-8407 in Montecorto that is 4,8 km long with a paving width between 5 and 6 meters. Given its features, it can be considered a representative road of mountain roads in the province.
\nThe event was held in the Plaza Andaluc\u00eda of such town at midday. After the presentation, Lorenzo could drove a Yamaha on the new road having time to check personally the protection barriers, the fused posts, the vertical plastic polymer signing posts and the psychocromatic headlight reflectors that have been installed in the road.<\/p>\n

\nLorenzo has described as \u201cvery important\u201d for motorcyclists this test bed and hopes that \u201cit will be successful\u201d and \u201ccould be applied and extended to the rest of the province and all over Spain\u201d.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, he explained that he has \u201calways\u201d been concerned about safety driving issues \u201cboth on roads and circuits\u201d<\/strong> stating that projects like this one will improve the future of those driving motorbikes.<\/p>\n

More than a hundred motorcyclists have participated in this event. Belonging to different motorcycle clubs in the province \u2013Los Perolos, Los Halcones, Los Bandoleros, Motoclub Ronda and M\u00e1laga Motoclub, they have driven their motorbikes in the experimental section to check the new safety measures on the ground. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
